2022-2023 Annual General Meeting
Please Join Us!

Format: Hybrid
Location: The Estate – 51 Estate Drive and via Zoom
As an SMT member, you are invited to attend and hear about our successes and challenges this past season and our new initiatives for the coming year. This year we will be presenting our AGM in a hybrid format so you can join us in person or via zoom!
Our AGM provides opportunities to meet and see friends and colleagues again and to renew acquaintances. Also, there will be an overview of the past season and a view to the next season.
Come and find out how our first full season in three years went and about our plans for the upcoming season.
Everyone is welcome to attend but only members can vote at the AGM.
If you’re not a member yet and would like to vote at the 2023 AGM, you can still purchase a 2022-2023 membership online at the Theatre Scarborough website or by reaching out to membership secretary, Jan Harvey at membership@smt-theatre.com
All those attending the meeting will have their names entered into a draw to win complimentary membership.

The agenda, last year’s minutes, the annual report, and financial reports will be sent out closer to the AGM date. Please note that the AGM will be recorded for accuracy purposes, but it will not be shared.
SMT Board of Directors Elections
There will be an election for the 2023/24 Board of Directors and we always look forward to having some new members with new ideas to help SMT continue to evolve and grow. All current members of SMT can stand for election and/or vote in the election.
If you are interested in serving on the Board please send a note to Mike Scott, Election Chair at
smt_agm@theatrescarborough.com. There will be an opportunity for nominations at the AGM but it will help things run more smoothly if we know about your interest in advance.

The Board of Directors consists of no fewer than 9 to a maximum of 13 members which includes:
– One President
– One Vice- President
– One Treasurer
– One Secretary
– Up to 9 members at large
