At Theatre Scarborough we’re always looking for people who are interested in working on a theatre production!

Volunteer

If you would like to help out with any aspect of our productions you could volunteer to build sets, make props, sew costumes, design lighting or soundscapes. Join the production team to help with stage management or running crew. There are also a lot of opportunities on our Front of House team including ushering, box office, theatre refreshments, 50/50 table.

Auditions

Updated November 8, 2022: Auditions for Scarborough Players April Production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time based on the novel by Mark Haddon and adapted by Simon Stephens will take place in person on January 17 and 18, 2023 with callbacks on January 21. Updated October 21, 2022: Auditions for Scarborough Theatre Guild’s March production of Innocence Lost: A Play About Steven Truscott by Beverley Cooper will take place on  December 5, 7 and possible December 9 with callbacks on December 12. Updated September 8, 2022: Auditions for Scarborough Music Theatre’s production of The Bridges of Madison County by Jason Robert Brown and Marsha Norman will take place on October 13 and 14 will callbacks on October 20. Updated May 7, 2022: Scarborough Music Theatre is seeking Directors, Music Directors, Choreographers, Producers and Stage Managers for the 2022-2023 season of You’re A Good Man Charlie (1999 version), The Bridges of Madison County and Godspell (2012 version).
