NOTICE – SMT 2021-2022 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Hey SMT Friends,
Once again, the AGM will be held online by ZOOM.
The AGM is your opportunity to find out how our first partial post-covid season went and find out more about plans for the upcoming full season.
Everyone is welcome to attend but only members can vote at the AGM. If you were a member in the season before Covid then your membership has been extended through this year. If you could vote last year, you can vote again this year. If you weren’t a member last year and want to vote you can become one this year for the special Covid price of $25 or $50 for a family.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about how to join the meeting.
All other AGM documents, including the agenda, last year’s minutes, the annual report, and financial reports will be sent out closer to the AGM date and will also added to this posting. Please note that the AGM will be recorded for accuracy purposes, but the recording will not be shared.
SMT Board of Directors Elections
There will be an election for the 2022/2023 Board of Directors, and we always look forward to having some new members with new ideas to help SMT continue to evolve and grow. All current members of SMT can stand for election and/or vote in the election.
If you are interested in serving on the Board, please send a note to Mike Scott at smt_agm@theatrescarborough.com. There will be an opportunity for nominations at the AGM, but it helps things run more smoothly if we know about your interest in advance.
The Board of Directors consists of no fewer than 9 to a maximum of 13 members which includes:
One President
One Vice- President
One Treasurer
One Secretary
Up to 9 members at large
