STG – “Mike” Award

The “Mike” Award (named in honour of the late Mike Woodbridge) is given to a member who demonstrates a positive attitude of cooperation, teamwork and congeniality. This year the award goes to Bob Sanders for the graceful way he stepped in to assume FOH duties for Susan in April with all the new protocols required for Covid.

STG –  Member of the Year

The STG Member of the Year award goes to Drew Smylie for his fresh set of eyes and for everything he has done this past year including leading the Cleanup / Throw Out team, working on the Play Selection criteria, investigating our audience makeup and his extra diligence when it came to eradicating the moths found in the unit.

Theatre Scarborough – Certificate of Merit

Congratulations to Andra Bradish who was awarded the Theatre Scarborough Certificate of Merit for her amazing work with multiple of our theatre groups and her idea of each group mounting free promotional workshops for volunteers and patrons at the theatre during non-performance afternoons or evenings.

STG Membership

Membership is so much more than paying a mandatory fee when cast in a show or being able to see Theatre Scarborough shows at a discount. You, as a member, have a vested interest in the organization, and in its future. In a sense you are ‘part owner’, and only you can ensure that the group thrives.

Membership Dues for the 2022-23 season can be paid through the Theatre Scarborough website, or by cheque payable to Scarborough Theatre Guild, mailed to the following address:

Scarborough Theatre Guild
Cedar Heights PO Box 55530, 629 Markham Road
Scarborough ON, M1H 2A4

The fee this year is $20 for individuals, $30 for family. Since we are returning as much to normal as possible this upcoming season, your membership fee will once again include free access to any Guild show, depending on availability of seats, and 50% off for up to 4 tickets to the opening night of any Guild, Scarborough Players or Scarborough Music Theatre show.
