Music by Tom Kitt

Book and Lyrics by Brian Yorkey

Original Broadway Production Produced by David Stone, James L. Nederlander,

Barbara Whitman, Patrick Catullo and Second Stage Theatre

Diana and her family aren’t quite as normal as they may first appear – but maybe something next to normal will be okay. Grief, medical ethics, and psycopharmacology are unlikely subjects for a musical, but Next to Normal has been called one of the best musicals of the 21st century because of its graceful handling of its dark, complex subject matter and its moving and brutally honest exploration into pain. Nominated for 11 Tony Awards (and winner of 3!), the show also received a Pultizer Prize for best drama.

Recommended for ages 13 and up with parental guidance.
