Because of global actions to reduce the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic Scarborough Music Theatre has made the difficult decision to indefinitely postpone our May production of CABARET.
The show will be moved to a future season when we can again gather at full capacity.
While the spirit of theatre is that the show must go on, the health and safety of our patrons, cast, crew, and volunteers is of paramount importance and so the show will only go on when we can all safely come together again.
In a Berlin nightclub where everything is beautiful no matter what is happening outside, an idealistic American writer and a jaded British cabaret singer fall in love against a political backdrop that forces them to choose between their fantasy and grim reality.
Recommended for age 14 and up.
Strong language and mature content.
